About Miss Stephanie West
Miss Stephanie West is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a decade of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric and adult eye conditions. Miss West centres her practice around early and accurate diagnosis, to allow her patients to make informed decisions. She sees private patients at the Spire Southampton Hospital.
Miss West gained her primary medical qualification at Southampton University Medical School, then went on to undertake her specialist ophthalmology training at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham and the renowned Bristol Eye Hospital. She then gained specialist paediatric fellowships at Sickkids, Toronto and Moorfields Eye Hospital, which allowed her to gain a breadth of knowledge and expertise regarding children's eye conditions. Since her Consultant appointment, Miss West has become an active member of the teaching community, assisting in the training of junior surgeons and health professionals.
