Miss Catharine McGuinness has over 20 years of experience as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon. She is a leading expert in her field who has held a number of positions across all areas of vascular research and treatment.

Miss McGuinness graduated from St. George's Hospital Medical School in 1987 and subsequently took several positions in parallel medical fields before focussing heavily on vascular research in both her professional posts and her publications. She has since held positions at a number of prestigious hospitals and clinics across the UK including Guy's and St Thomas' in London.

During her time as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital from 2004 to 2012, Miss McGuinness was able to initiate, build up and run a leading vascular simulation suite for local medical professionals and students.

Miss McGuinness is passionate about research and training and regularly presents her research at conferences across the world. She has written numerous articles and publications on the treatment and understanding of vascular conditions.
