Dr Pericleous is a very thoughtful consultant who takes time to listen to his patients. He follows up as promised and always looks at patients in the whole rather than just his specific area. I always feel reassured after speaking to Dr Pericleous.

Of all the consultants I have seen, I rate my patient experience with Dr Pericleous the best and very highly for his bedside manner, understanding and consistency. He has empathy with his patient, listens and follows through on what he says he’ll do. He is thorough in his investigations to establish the cause of the medical problem. He explains things well and is happy to go back over something in a different way if you don’t understand. He follows this up in writing. He is friendly and warm in his approach. It has been so nice having a consultant who really cares about his patient, and having the same consultant all the way through my treatment. Thank you.

At our first face to face appointment, Dr Periceous was made aware of my bilateral deafness and the need for me to lip read or use Speech to Text. He embraced my need making my appointments much less streesful. Dr made sure I 'heard' and understood before the appointment ended.

Dr Marinos Pericleous has been the most thorough in my experience with my liver problems Primary Biliary Cholangitis. Six monthly checks of blood tests, US abd, to name a few. Plus Dexa scan, Fibroscans, Endoscopy last year. I cannot fault anything after the attention I have had from him.

We saw Dr Pericleous as a couple. He spoke to both of us in the most empathetic way. We felt cherished and privileged to be his patient. He explained the diagnosis and treatment clearly and gave us time to ask any questions. He has made ,what is a frightening experience into a calm one.

My overall experience with Dr. Marionos Pericleous could not have been more perfect. As a sensitively aware person, I felt relaxed and at ease with him which enabled me to portray what I believe to be an accurate picture of my current health question marks, along with positive changes in regard to weight, despite withdrawal from Creon since September last year. I felt confident that Dr. Pericleous was entirely thorough in my two consultations with him (in 2021 and 2022) and requested comprehensive blood tests, along with MRI of neck (swallowing issues) and pancreas (the results of which he passed on to me and I was pleased to be made aware that they were reassuring). After reporting right iliac fossa pain (remains ongoing) to him in this year's consultation, he has kindly arranged for me to have an MRI scan on that area along with an ultra-sound of my neck for ongoing swallowing issues (care needed on my part when eating/drinking). Dr. Pericleous also wished to ensure, in regard to the ultra-sound on the neck, that the thyroid is not enlarged. (I have been hypo-thyroid for many years). It has been especially good to have the experience of an excellent bedside manner, which I believe to be of great value to patients, including me. I cannot praise Dr. Pericleous highly enough and am so grateful to him for crossing all i's and dotting all t's.

Dr Marinos Pericleous was involved in my father's care, Liver cancer. Dr Marinos was an extremely caring person. He gave enough time for my father to explain his multiple problems, listened to him very well, and addressed all his issues. Father had lots of questions; he did not rush my father. Father felt Dr Marinos was an excellent and Competent doctor. Communication was excellent, proper bedside manner, respectful. Also, Dr Marinos explains the next plan/step before leaving his clinic and contact details if needed. Very thorough and approachable.
