Dr Marinos Kyriakopoulos is a highly qualified Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychologist. He is a visiting consultant at Priory Hospital North London as well as a consultant for the National and Specialist Acorn Lodge Inpatient Children's Unit of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, Dr Kyriakopoulos is a visiting senior lecturer in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London.

Dr Kyriakopoulos completed his Medical Degree in 1998 at the University of Athens. He specialises in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on early-onset psychotic disorders. He is highly trained in the use of diagnostic tools such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised. In addition, he holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Systemic Practice, and completed his PhD at King's College London in 2010. His research has been widely recognised, having received awards such as a NARSAD 2008 Young Investigator Award (USA) and the 2009 Margaret Davenport Prize (Royal College of Psychiatrists). He has published over 35 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.

Dr Kyriakopoulos is an adjunct assistant professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, USA and an honorary consultant at the Tourette Syndrome Clinic, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. His areas of expertise include autism spectrum conditions, early-onset psychotic disorders, developmental neuropsychiatry and psychopharmacology.

Dr Kyriakopoulos says his key priority is promoting the wellbeing of children and families by gaining a thorough understanding of their challenges and using evidence-based interventions to address them. He always strives to provide an empathic, responsive, and effective service for all children and young people.
