I work very closely with Mr Shalhoub in caring for people with diabetes foot disease. This is a challenging and complex condition that requires a multi-disciplinary, individualized and holistic approach towards patients. Mr Shalhoub is a skilled vascular surgeon, who approaches each one of our patients in their own merit and has the ability to address the strictly clinical and technical aspects of their condition but also the multiple issues surrounding multi-morbidity, cultural and religious beliefs in health approaches, personal wishes, physical and psychological needs. This has made him an integral member of our mutli-disciplinary service and a practitioner I deeply trust to look after my patients.
