Jay was very knowledgeable, meticulous, kind and patient. He took the time to explain every step of the process to me. Then he observed my biomechanics off the bike: the way I walked, flexibility, asked for history of any relevant conditions, etc. Then followed with observation of my biomechanics on the bike: the way my legs, knees, torso moved when pedalling, arms movement, and finally the set up of the cleats and pedals. After looking carefully, he then applied the changes he thought I needed in order to improve my comfort on the bike, then repeated the observation many times doing more adjustments. His feedback made me learn a bit more about how I pedal and how my body moves on the bike. When someone takes the time to check every aspect of the bike fit process, like he did, your comfort on the bike will definitely improve!

Jay was an absolute pleasure to have as a physio, always friendly and never seeming to get annoyed at my endless questioning! Mainly if I was alright to play hockey, which was obviously my main concern! He was always honest and told me straight if something was a good or bad idea. He accommodated any slight issue I had, including some unfortunate delays on the Thameslink which meant I was unable to make an appointment - but there never seemed to be an issue and another appointment was booked within minutes. He looked out for my best interests, providing me with short term solutions for pain and injury management while also looking for the long-term plan. He jumped from one injury to the other without complaint and, at times, even doubled as an unofficial therapist as we discussed personal (often self-inflicted!) sporting pressures.

Extremely grateful to have found Jay! His extraordinary skill set, kindness, patience and overall intelligence very quickly helped me on the road to recovery and immediately into much better health!
