Mr Husam Elghalhud is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with over two decades of experience in the field. Husam qualified as a doctor in 1998, after which he completed a subspeciality fellowship in Cataract and Anterior segment, at the Queen Victoria Hospital Sussex. He also undertook his specialist training in London and Kent, which gave him a wider knowledge regarding eye issues such as dry eyes, floaters and Blepharitis. Mr Elghalhud went on to improve at develop the trusts he works at, by improving cataract complication rates, and bringing innovative treatments such as inravitreal injections for macular degenerations and Argon retina laser. He also offers a glaucoma service.
