I have full confidence in Mr Yamamoto. He was clear, friendly and totally professional throughout the procedure. It was a pleasure to meet him again.

Excellent, from the first introduction, I was put fully at ease with a welcome manor. The process was explained to me so I understood every thing that would be dealt with during the session.

Very clear information on the procedure. An interest in why I was asked to have the biopsy. Very calm during the procedure and with a constant reassurance that things were going fine.

After a higher than expected PSA and GP referral, I had an MRI scan and biopsy, following which I was invited to attend a meeting. Mr Yamamoto introduced himself to me and explained very clearly how he was recommending a radical prostatectomy which he would do via robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery (other alternative treatments were also discussed). Following the meeting, I had some questions for him and while I thought a second meeting would only be for 5-10 minutes, he gave me 40 minutes, patiently and calmly providing advice, assurance and answers. The operation proved to be very successful with a positive prognosis and minimal urinary incontinence after catheter removal 10 days after the operation and with minimal other side effects. His after care has also been second to none, personally phoning my wife and me three times to check on my post operative progress. I have been fortunate to have had a surgeon with such excellent surgical skill and such a sympathetic and caring approach.

Mr Yamamoto clearly described what he was doing and was reassuring throughout.

All the staff were friendly and caring. The consultation was informative and to the point. The explanation and procedure before, during and after the Biopsy,was clear and made me feel at ease. The follow up meeting with the nurse was also clear in the information given to me and my wife. The Clinic as a whole shows the best of the NHS. Thank You to all the staff.

Although an unpleasant experience, the whole procedure was delt with dignity and compassion.
