Mr Yamamoto came highly recommended and did not disappoint. He’s kind, considerate and cares about his patients.

From the very outset Mr Yamamoto explained everything in a way that was understandable, from diagnosis to follow up appointment. My mind was put at ease all the way through. I feel very lucky to have had an amazing surgeon.

Mr Yamamoto has a calm, professional and reassuring manner. He is clearly very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions in an informative and easy to understand manner. Mr Yamamoto put me at ease both before the operation (HoLep) and immediate afterwards. I can’t recommend him enough. It goes without saying that his technical skills are 100%. Recovery was quick for myself with no complications.

I chose Mr Yamamoto after some online research. Clearly hugely gifted he is also a delight in consultation: clear, patient and considerate. I knew from the first moment that I was in very safe hands.

Brilliant doctor and extremely good at helping you understand what will happen during treatment/surgery. Personally called me twice quite unexpectedly which was much appreciated.

I was very impressed by Mr Yamamoto from our first meeting through to the operation and the consultation afterwards.He explained what was going to happen very clearly and the operation went as he explained.Mr Yamamoto came round the ward late on the evening of the operation to see how I was which was much appreciated.He also called me at home again to check on my progress I felt this as a particularly well received call in fact it made my day.He was kind,caring and gave me a lot of confidence in the operation.Again at the consultation at the hospital he went through everything with me and went to great lengths to answer my and my wife’s questions.He also explained what was going to happen with my care after the operation.I could not have have asked for a better outcome and a more considerate surgeon. Mr Yamamoto was very professional and understanding and took the time in simple words to explain what the procedure would involve and the possible outcome’s as well as answer all my questions. His superb ability as a surgeon meant that I am making good progress in recovery and can look forward to a bright future. Above all he has enormous empathy and even took the time to telephone my wife after the procedure to reassure her all was well. My wife found this extremely reassuring to hear from the surgeon directly which put her mind at rest and that of my children. Mr Yamamoto also called me during my recovery period to see how I was.
