Dr. Dwayne Conway is a highly skilled consultant cardiologist based at Thornbury Hospital Sheffield, Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital, and Sheffield Northern General Hospital, where he specialises in coronary intervention. He received his degree from the University of Birmingham in 1995 and completed 11 years of postgraduate training in Birmingham, Warwick, York, Plymouth, London, Wakefield and Leeds. Additionally, he honed his skills as an interventional cardiologist during a 12-month fellowship at Dalhousie University in Canada.

• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (angiography and angioplasty)
• General Cardiology

As a member of the interventional cardiology team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Dr. Conway provides care to a large and diverse patient population. Prior to joining the Sheffield team, he worked as a consultant interventional cardiologist at Freeman Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary, and Pinderfields Hospital, where he successfully established a coronary intervention service and served as its lead clinician for governance and procurement until his move to Sheffield in 2020.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Conway is committed to mentoring the next generation of cardiologists and has directed several regional and national courses, including for the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS). He also holds the position of Training Programme Director for Cardiology in South Yorkshire.
