Consultant Dermatologist, Dr Virginia (Ginny) Hubbard, has private practices in London and Suffolk. She treats patients with skin problems and specialises in all aspects of general dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, acne, eczema, moles, rosacea, and minor skin surgery. Dr Hubbard provides her patients with accurate and comprehensive diagnoses and treatment, taking into account the wider impact of skin disease on a person’s life.
Dr Hubbard gained her medical qualification from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in 1995. She went on to complete postgraduate training in general medicine before specialising in dermatology which she completed in 2004.
Dr Hubbard is also active in medical education and is the current course director of the postgraduate diploma in dermatology at Barts and the London School of Medicine. Outside of medical practice, Dr Hubbard lives with her two young children in Suffolk and enjoys travelling and art in her free time.

Dr. Hubbard was fantastic. She took the time to explain her examination and what treatment options were available and would involve. During the examination she noticed another blemish that would need monitoring with possible future treatment. The treatment received was delivered expertly and carefully explained with an impeccable bedside manner. With very fair skin that will require regular check ups going forward I feel confident that I will receive the best possible care from Dr. Hubbard.

I would struggle to explain how much I love Dr Hubbard. I have seen her twice now and both times her bedside manner and explanation of the problem has been perfect. She immediately puts you at ease and you feel comfortable confiding in her (I’m sure the extra info also helps in her diagnosing!). She really celebrates your achievements and you leave her office feeling really positive. What a queen! Would not hesitate to recommend Dr Hubbard!
