“I have seen Dr Anderson on the NHS before many years ago and he was so good that he was my first choice when seeking a private gastroenterologist this summer. I was very anxious about the reason for seeing him and he is fantastic at balancing the calm taking charge due to expertise confidence of a good doctor with making you feel informed while cared for. This is excellent at resolving both practical issues and any worries. Things are resolved and I feel Dr Anderson really listened and helped me understand when to advocate for my health and when to trust when it seems like a process is taking a long time. He has an exceptional skill at both medicine and patients and I cannot recommend him enough.“

Dr Anderson has been an excellent gastroenterologist and has conducted a number of consultations and performed a number of procedures for me. He is unfailingly polite, very knowledgeable and has a skill in listening to evince the real nature of the problems before him. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in need of his services.

It was a pleasure meeting with Simon. I found his bedside manner to be the best I've encountered. He makes you feel at ease immediately, and I knew I was with the right person. He asked lots of relevant questions, and answered all of my questions very clearly. After a swift examination he decided on the next steps, which are in line with what I was hoping for. I cannot recommend Simon strongly enough.

I would like to give some feedback on Dr Simon Anderson ( MD FRCP - Consultant Gastroenterologist) as I can’t recommend him highly enough. I have visited a few highly regarded surgeons over the years and have found Dr Simon Anderson to be one of the very best. Dr Anderson has carried out a variety of investigations on my varied gastrointestinal and bowel symptoms; all resulting in highly valued advice. I have found Dr Simon Anderson to have a very professional but relaxed and friendly manner during consultations where he clearly looks to all options pertinent for discussion and generally has an excellent Doctor patient manner that encourages a very high level of trust. His level of care during all my visits to date, surgical procedures and notably where he really takes time to listen to all concerns voiced without any apparent impatience or making one feeling in any way ‘rushed’, I have found to be absolutely faultless. He seems to be able to take the time to make one feel his priority and an overall sense of being in the very best of care at all times.
