Dr Rakesh Amin is a Consultant Paediatrician and clinical academic doctor at GOSH and UCLH. Dr Amin qualified in Medicine at Leeds University before later training in paediatric medicine in London, and specializing in endocrinology and diabetes in both the capital and also the city of Oxford.
Later in his career, Dr Amin was awarded an MD for research on the subject of microvascular disease. Dr Amin has a particularly keen interest in research and its importance in helping us to discover causes and treatments for a wide range of diseases.
Respected widely within the medical sphere by his peers, Dr Amin is also highly praised by patients, who often comment on his warm demeanour. In his free time, Dr Amin enjoys cycling and dabbling in the kitchen.
