Miss Rajni Jain is a Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon specialising in oculoplastic surgery. She graduated from Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 1995 and has completed 10 years of ophthalmic surgical training, making her highly experienced and skilled in her field.
Miss Jain's specialist interests include eyelid reconstruction following tumour excision and burns, children with eyelid abnormalities, and aesthetic oculoplastics including blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow-lifting techniques, anti wrinkle injections and facial aesthetics including dermal fillers.
Miss Jain is a passionate educator and is a surgical trainer. She is part of the faculty for ‘training the trainers' at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. She has several research interests and has presented on numerous occasions at national and international scientific meetings.
Miss Jain is active in research and is currently a principal investigator in a multi-centre randomised trial looking at treatment for thyroid eye disease.
Miss Jain sees both general ophthalmic and oculoplastic referrals and is available for emergency advice and consultation at other times.

I found Ms Jain very reassuring exhibiting confidence in her analysis of my problems. Very attentive to my concerns and was patient in explaining any issues. She was always interested in any concerns I might have. Her relationship with her admin staff was such that it was easy to communicate remotely with her about appointments etc. and any prescriptions that might become necessary.

Miss Rajni Jain has been looking after my eyes for quite a number of years. She is very kind, patient and always explains everything to you. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

The results of my procedure are not completed and not totally visible till February so I only gave this very capable person four out of five stars for the first question as it will take till February for me to really, really know the proper answer.

She knowledgable in the field of cosmetic facial surgery and urgent eye care and is the lead for advice to GP's in Ophthalmology at Imperial. She is highly recommended!

OphthalmologyI have been working with Rajni within the Thyroid Eye MDT clinic at Imperial, which is now very well established, for a number of years. Rajni was my teacher while I trained as an endocrinologist and my first port of referral for complicated thyroid eye patients ever since then. It has been an absolute pleasure to look after these patients together since I joined the Consultant body at Imperial myself. Rajni is exceptionally quickly responsive to seeing my patients and offers treatments and solutions in a bespoke manner, whilst utilising the environment of our multi-disciplinary working to support safe patient care.
