I have known Dr Raj as my trainee and then appointed him as a consultant colleague in my NHS hospital. It is fair to say that he was one of the very best trainees we have had the pleasure to train. He has an enquiring mind, is highly empathetic, an excellent diagnostician, and he combines this with excellent procedural and technical skills in colonoscopy and endoscopy. We were very sad to lose him to take up a position in King's College Hospital when one came up to suit his subspecialist interest. Highly recommended!
