He was friendly and helpful, our only comment is that unfortunately despite phone calls we have not yet received a letter about the consultation, our own doctor received a letter however the patient did not.

I went to to see Dr Durham earlier this year as I had recently been told I had A.Fib. I wanted this confirmed and wanted to query if I should take blood thinners or not. He was very understanding and after confirming that I do have an irregular heart beat he fully explained the reasons why it would be advisable to take the tablets even though I feel that I am fairly fit and healthy. To be sure that there was nothing else wrong with my heart he very kindly referred me to have an echogram to put my mind at ease. Thank you for seeing me, for your patience and for your advice.

Dr Durham was very thorough and professional. I have had further problems last Sunday when I went to York hospital with severe gout and pain in mr left foot. I am therefore now on the medication advised and have already recievedthe follow up in October.
