I cannot speak highly enough of Professor Ruparelia I was seen at the Circle Reading within 24 hours of my !st phone call. However at such short notice he had read the reports from Basingstoke Hospital, was fully informed on procedures they had done.He had also read my medical history so was aware of any past problems with my health. This ,to me, demonstrated a very thorough and professional approach, which gave me great confidence in him. His explanation of the results was clear and precise, with no hesitation to clarify certain things when asked His "bedside" manner was excellent, warm, friendly and made you feel at ease totally. My results did not explain why my legs are so swollen but as he said it ruled out "one of the bad boys " which might be causing my problem He suggested a way forward to find the answers which I will pursue I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who have concerns regarding the workings of their heart
Professor Neil Ruparelia
Thank you for your kind review. Wishing you the very best.
Enormously constructively detailed and insistent on optimisation of Pace Maker
Maximum professionalism and competence.
Dear Dr Ruparelia, A few words to thank you and your team very much for your skill and professionalism and compassion during my procedure at the RBH. The knowledge that I was in such safe hands quelled much of my growing anxiety. Many thanks again.
Dr Ruparelia did many things for me, 1.) Explained my options clearly 2.) Performed my surgery and fixed the issue 3.) Reassured me during my follow-up appointments that I was fixed and could go back to living a normal life with confidence I am grateful to Neil and all his assistants, be that medical or clerical who have taken me from a very stressful situation and given me my life back.
Excellent consultation, everything explained in a manner I could understand, he has a brilliant bedside manner.
Dr.Neil is one of the best doctors, I've ever seen . He handles the situation patiently and quickly. I was admitted in Royal Berkshire hospital for 100% blockage on LAD (aka widowmaker heart attack) . As soon as the ambulance arrived, Dr Neil explained me the situation and straightway moved to CCU, In less than 25 minutes, he diagnosed the blockage using angiogram and inserted a stent. I was listening to him throughout the procedure and felt the confidence that he is capable enough to save my life. He was so professional and calm throughout the procedure.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Ruparelia. I needed an operation to plug a hole in my heart. Dr Ruparelia explained the procedure and my options very clearly and calmly. He allowed me time to consider my options. He also carried out tests and explained the findings. Before, during and after the operation my care was excellent and I felt most confident and comfortable. I was able to leave hospital the next day and have felt extremely well ever since. My levels of energy have improved considerably. I am very grateful and pleased with the care I received. Dr Ruparelia is very professional, kind, informed, enthusiastic and experienced I felt extremely safe in his hands.
Dear Dr Ruparelia, I am writing to thank you so much for the excellent work and care you gave me throughout my hole in the heart procedure, at the Wellington hospital in London in March. I was very impressed not only with your attention to details but your effort in explaining to e fully what was going to happen and why, In addition, your enthusiasm for your work and interest in making sure I was well cared for made me feel very comfortable, reassured and confident that all would go well. Clearly it did as I felt no need to "take it easy" for a few days after the operation! In fact the operation was such a success my levels of energy immediately increased and I have felt very well ever since. Thank you so much for your excellent care and cheerful attitude, also your professionalism and expertise. I feel very lucky to have been one of your patients.
We were delighted with our meeting with Dr Ruparelia. He was impressively well prepared, very thorough in his assessments, most positive in his recommendations and so kind with regards to ongoing management. We were also very please with his personal assistant's prompt reply even on a Sunday evening and the offer of an early appointment.
In an age when knocking the NHS appears to have become a national sport, I thought that I would take the time to write to you to tell you how impressed I was with how I was treated at my recent Cardiology Outpatients appointment at WBCH. I was seen in the clinic by Dr Neil Ruparelia who was extremely thorough in his explanation of the results of my most recent MRI scan. He also took the time to most professional in his responses. I came away from my appointment feeling like I had listened to an treated with intelligence and respect. I was impressed that he insisted on dictating my letter in my presence so that, if I had any queries, they could be addressed immediately. Dr Ruparelia is a credit to your existing team. To date, I cannot fault the care, for which I am grateful, that I have reveived from every member of the Cardiology team at the RBH, WBCH & ar Spire Dunedin. I should also like to say how much I, and many other people that I know, value the services provided by WBCH. It is so much more convenient to those of us living to the west of Reading to be able to attend our outpatients appointments there rather than have to visit the RBH and the nurses and admin staff there are always so helpful as are all your staff at the RBH
Dear Mr Roparelia, I had my Tavi back in December which I know was successful. This thank you review has been a long time coming. When I first met you with my wife you said 'I am going to get you back as you were'. This, you and your team have done, I am back and I have no problem with gardening, walking or anything strenuous. Your team at RBH and The Hammersmith were exceptional in all respects. Thanks once again for giving me my life back. I have now hit 86 years YOUNG!
This is to say a huge thank you to the team who did a marvellous job on my husband. To say he is now different now both physically and mentally is an understatement. We met nothing but positivity and help that day and the nursing staff and medical members were a real breath of fresh air! Thank you all, we are privileged to have you in an area in times of need
Many thanks for my TAVI, I'm back to normal and feeling more energetic - not everyone has a new lease of life the day before their 81st birthday. Please thank the other surgeons on my behalf. Cannot thank you enough.
Just a little something to say a big thank you for my excellent care in the early hours of last Monday morning x
Just a note to say thank you and your team in Reading and the Hammersmith for saving my life. I'm walking 2 - 3 miles daily and I'm planning riding comeback as my husband thinks I should wait a bit. You were all so kind and so talented.
Thank you for such awesome care (and a kickass letter!). All the best!
