Dr Nazar Sharaf

Dr Sharaf, a B.Sc. and M.D as well as a PhD holder and is one of the Neurologist consultants at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust at Greater Manchester. On the other hand, he is a visiting Neurologist at Fairfield General Hospital- Bury. He, on the other hand, holds an Honorary Lecturer post in Neurosciences at Manchester University- UK. Through this post, he gets the opportunity of teaching medical students regularly. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.D in 2000 as a summa cum laude graduate from Sultan Qaboos University- Muscat- Sultanate of Oman. Later in 2006, Dr Sharaf did his PhD at the University of Sheffield, UK, majoring in Molecular Immunology; molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying inter-individual variation in adaptive and innate immunity- in particular in IL1 gene cluster. He found the topic interested thus he fashioned his career in line with inflammatory disorders.

In 2014 Dr Sharaf finished training on general medical and General Neurology specialist at North Western Deanery (Manchester) after which he was selected as one of the consultants in the hospital. Additionally, he has published different scientific and clinical publications in line with his research as well as other clinical topics.
