Dr Matthew Stride is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the successful Isokinetic rehabilitation centre in London. Here Dr Stride works with many professional athletes and people suffering from general injuries. He draws on his wide experience to offer patients a prompt and accurate diagnosis and to draw up a bespoke treatment plan for each individual.
Dr Stride specialises in knee injuries such as the repair of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and tendon related problems.
He currently serves as the Club Doctor for Brentford Football Club and an Event Doctor for Sport Relief.
Dr Stride is able to make use of the state of the art facilities at Isokinetic including three rehabilitation gyms, a multi-depth aquatherapy pool and an indoor field. Dr Stride typically follows a five-step process to help his patients recover from injury:

- Restoration of joint mobility and range of motion
- Recovery of muscle strength and endurance
- Recovery of co-ordination
- Recovery of sport-specific technical movements
