After suffering over the past year with chest pains which were taken as symptoms of Heart Attack and being rushed under the NHS to Fairfield Hospital A & E by Ambulance and given all tests. I have been sent home on all the numerous times after the tests and told there is nothing wrong just take Co-codamol. I was given an Angina spray by the doctor and told to take Asprin as well each day. They thought it could have been my diaphram causing the pains, but it doesn't help when I am in agony and just can't tell the difference. After collapsing at work on the 28th January 2019 with the so-called symptoms of looking as though as I was dead, to my daughter and ex husband, an Ambulance was called and I was taken to hospital again and discharged as though nothing is wrong. I phoned up on Tuesday 29th January 2019 and requested an appointment to see Dr M R Hargreaves at BMI Highfield as soon as possible. I was told that there was an appointment that evening to see Dr Hargeaves so I went to see him. I have known Dr Hargreaves through the NHS where he has treated my daughter for Heart problems since 2001 when she was transferred under his care. I can honestly say that Dr Hargreaves is the No.1 Heart specialist in his field that I have known and dealt with. I saw Dr Hargreaves on the 31st January 2019 due to bad weather having had to cancel the previous appointment and after a through examination Dr Hargreaves has said there is something that he noticed on the ECG and he arranged immediately for appointments to be made for a CT Scan, an Echo Cargiogram and a Doppler Machine to be arranged on the NHS. Dr Hargreaves was top class in his examination and after suffering for months and months and months Dr Hargreaves was instantly able to diagnose a problem. The symptom of my being dead he diagnosed as a severe fainting spell. I have now got appointments on the NHS for which Doctor Hargreaves has asked for urgent referrals for me as I am self funding he thought it might be cheaper. I found this to be a nice thought and appreciated the fact that I would only have to pay the private fee of seeing him the once. I was under treatment by the Rapid Access Heart Dept but they just put me on a waiting list which there is a very long waiting list. I can honestly say that Dr Hargreaves has helped me and has been able to settle my mind and I am not thinking that I was a hypochondriac over the pains in my chest. I would recommend anyone to see Dr Hargreaves and my family will certainly stand by that fact.

Excellent consultations and care with Dr. Hargreaves. His relaxed and approachable manner put me at ease immediately. His diagnosis of my condition and it's probable cause quickly allayed my concerns. Very impressive.

DR. Hargreaves has been most pleasant and helpful. He listened and discussed all the options available for my problem, adjusted medication appropriately and my condition is now none problematic. I am very re assured by his knowledge and professionalism.
