I’ve been seeing Liz on and off for over 5 years. I dip in and out as I need. She’s warm and compassionate, she’s taught and helped me understand myself, my thoughts and feelings. She’s seen me through some really tough periods and helped me find self compassion.

Liz helped me understand the concept of anxious thoughts, and the power of them. By pragmatically talking things through and explaining how the mind does not have to dictate everything, I was able to untangle some anxiety and cope better.

Choosing Liz to support me through therapy was one of the best choices I have ever made. It completely changed my life. I was in a really bad place and never talked about how I ended up there. She allowed me to work at my own pace and was professional, considerate, knowledgeable and understanding throughout. She gave me a different perspective but guided me to figure it out on my own with her support. If I ever need help again in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to see Liz. I’m much better now and I’m so very grateful.

My experience with Dr Liz White was life changing, I couldn’t have been more anxious and frightened of so many things before I started talking with her. I surprised myself with how reluctant at first I felt about the process but was soon encouraged and reassured by her. It’s like my brain was rebooted and coping mechanisms put in place. She taught me so much and validated what I thought about many of my issues that had built up over so many many years. I have received ongoing advice and support at my request but always been provided with options to opt out of the treatment.

Dr White has been a revelation. In addition to her emphathetic, open and compassionate approach, she is also professional, well-prepared and equipped with a range of tools for helping with mental health issues. She has taken a lot of care to understand my psychology and situation, significantly expanded my ability to identify my own thoughts, and overseen the application of a range of practical behaviours to address anxiety and negative thoughts. I would strongly recommend her for those looking for support for mental health issues.
