Dr. Davies graduated from The Royal London Dental Hospital in 2004. She then worked in general practice in Balham South London, completing her vocational training program and obtaining her NHS performer number. In 2006 she took up a post with the Salaried Dental Service in Portsmouth and became a Senior Dental Officer. Here she worked with children with special needs and complex medical conditions and also gained experience in different dental environments such as prisons, deportation centers, and hospitals. The role inspired her interest in anxious patients and the use of sedation. Alongside her salaried post, Dr. Davies worked in a general dental practice in Ryde for 7 years. She took her full-time post at Sandown Dental in 2012 and became a principle alongside Mr. Baker.
Dr. Davies enjoys all elements of general practice but has a specialist interest in the management of anxious patients and offers treatment under intravenous sedation. She recently obtained an MSc from the University of Bristol in Postgraduate Dental Studies with a focus on sedation and anxiety management.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her family.
