Dr Sarma is very good - listening and communicating complex medical matters in simple terms - referring to tests and medication when needed and giving you a sense of confidence - you are going to be alright

Being told that you may have a serious heart condition is very frightening. I didn't have anywhere to turn to, and my GP couldn't recommend anyone specific. I used Google to search, and found the details for Dr Sarma's lovely PA, Rebecca. The initial contact with Rebecca was very reassuring, and I was so appreciative when Dr Sarma made time to speak to me that very same evening. Dr Sarma has a very calming manner and allowed me to talk (probably too much!), and offered lots of reassurance and statistics which immediately made me feel better. My treatment plan included a trip to the local hospital for some tests - Rebecca helped me to secure an appointment the day after my first consultation. I had all of my tests and was scheduled in for a review with Dr Sarma when I returned from a boating holiday. Because Rebecca and Dr Sarma knew that I was anxious, Rebecca kindly sent a text to say that Dr Sarma had a quick scan of the results and there is nothing strikingly obviously to be concerned about. This gentleman wanted me to have peace of mind ahead of my planned trip. If you are reading this and you are unsure of where to turn, or who to choose; I cannot recommend Dr Sarma enough. He is kind, easy to talk to, non-judgemental, helpful and genuinely caring. And it's the caring aspect which is so important. Both Dr Sarma and Rebecca have been an absolute pleasure to speak with, and I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon their contact information.
