Dr Jacob Easaw is a Cardiologist currently based at the private practices Circle Bath Hospital and BMI Bath Clinic. His current NHS post is Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Foundation Trust. His areas of specialism are general cardiology and structural/heart failure. His areas of interest include Echocardiography; Dobutamine and bicycle stress echo; Transoesophageal Echocardiography; Heart failure specialist and Valvular Heart Disease.

Dr Easaw qualified in Medicine at Madras University in 1982 with MBBS degrees. He has an MD in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, India, 1988. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians London and a Fellow. He has many professional fellowship and memberships including Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology, Member of the British Society of Echocardiography, Member of the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging and Member of the Medical Defence Union. He was trained as a Cardiologist at University Hospital, Cardiff, Wales.

In addition, Dr Easaw is interested in research regarding Echocardiographic assessment of the right ventricle. He has received many awards and has published in peer-reviewed journals. He also offers courses to GPs and has given lectures regarding his areas of expertise. He was the receipent of the 2017 'Lifetime Achievement Award' from the British Society of Echocardiography.

Dr Easaw is also certified by the European Society of Cardiology in Heart Failure.
