    About

    Dr Malik, Consultant Cardiologist, is based in London has over 25 years of experience. He was promoted to Consultant Cardiologist at St Marys Hospital in 2003. He continues to practise at St Mary’s as well as Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals, Imperial College Hospitals and works within private practices as well. Additionally, he was appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College in 2003.

    He was appointed Clinical Lead for the Heart Attack Programme in 2010, a year later he was appointed Director at Hammersmith Hospital for the Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. Dr Malik is involved in many programmes with the Hammersmith NHS trust, leading the large Heart Attack Centre (HAC) program at this NHS Trust, delivering the best treatment available to patients in West London. On top of this, he has been appointed the Director of Structural Heart Disease at Hammersmith Hospital. He continues to contribute to the education of his colleagues by performing "live cases" to physicians around the world.

    Dr Malik impressed me when I met him for pre-op consultation. He grasped my issue very quickly, explained me the procedure in great details and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I found him very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He did carry out my procedure with utmost care and the result was a great success. He has great bed side manners and make himself promptly available if required. For heart valve procedure I consider him to be one of the best and recommend him very strongly.

    Dr Malik is friendly, polite and always ensures that the patient and their family are well looked after and understand what their treatment involves and the type of medical attention they need. He will spend the extra time after your Consultation time and will always contact you if you needed cardiac emergncy.
