A deeply knowledgeable doctor. When you have allergic rhinitis it’s difficult to find a physician that really understands the condition and how to manage and treat it. I feel fortunate that I found Dr Kariyawasam. I now have an understanding of my condition, and he’s created a plan of action for managing and treating this difficult condition. He’s welcoming, explains well to help you understand and very thoroughly did diagnostic tests to see the whole situation.

I saw Dr K last August suffering from chronic cough for 10 years plus. I found him to be understanding ,confident and very kind. He put me on medication and told me to email him with any queries which I did. He responded and guided me on to my next plan of action. I am now about 85% better. I have seen him again and have a further plan to follow so hopefully my cough will be a thing of the past. I firmly recommend Dr K.

It is not an overstatement to say that Dr Kariyawasam has transformed my life. For the best part of the last decade, I have struggling on-and-off with severe asthma and multiple severe allergies. After getting my asthma under control, Dr Kariyawasam administered a biologic treatment which has quite astonishingly thwarted my previous issues. I cannot recommend Dr Kariyawasam enough, with his consistent kindness and attention to detail. This treatment is not yet well-known (otherwise I would have had it when my issues started!), but it is, without any verbosity, life-changing.

I have been a patient of Dr Kariyawasam since 2011. I had been suffering terribly with allergies which had resulted in loss of smell, taste and overall poor health for a few years prior to that and I had almost given up hope of any kind of recovery.
