I first started getting allergies/ nasal problems when I was 13 years old. They didn’t start to deteriorate until I was around 16/17 and have struggled with them ever since. My sense of smell slowly started getting worse as well until now I have seen Dr Harsha Kariyawasam. I had surgery previous to seeing him and didn’t feel as if much of a difference had been made. After just one appointment with Dr Harsha Kariyawasam he knew exactly what steps to take next and explained how my nose can be affected in such ways I had never heard before. The second visit saw multiple tests to find out how my nose works which goes to show how professional and swift he is at finding the problem and diagnosing it. After only the second appointment I have left feeling more satisfied than ever and excited to start this new treatment to get my nose back to full heath. You will not find a better ENT and allergy doctor than Dr Harsha Kariyawasam and cannot recommend him enough.

I have been suffering from issues with my sinuses for many years. Dr Kariyawasam has taken time to really understand the problems I have been experiencing and work on solutions to ameliorate my symptoms. He explains the scientific mechanisms of the drugs that he prescribes in laymans terms which is very reassuring.

As a fellow scientist (but in a different field), I enjoy my interactions with Harsha as he tried (often with some success!) to explain biology and pharmacology to a physicist! He has an excellent bedside manner, is very patient, and is supported by an excellent team at the clinic.
