About

Dr Graham Cole is a Consultant Cardiologist based at the world-famous Hammersmith Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He practises privately at convenient London locations including 27 Harley Street, Imperial College Healthcare, Chenies Mews Imaging Centre, BUPA Cromwell Hospital and HCA The Wellington Hosptial.

He has broad expertise in assessing patients with shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, collapses and ankle swelling. He also has expertise in assessing cardiovascular risk, and assessing patients needing surgery to minimise their risk.

He is a sub-specialist in cardiac imaging, being extensively trained and accredited in using modern techniques (echo, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT) to investigate patients painlessly and non-invasively. He has additional expertise in heart failure.

He has a track record of publishing research that matters to patients. Highlights include developing ways to help patients make individualised decisions about the pros and cons of different treatments, and developing imaging techniques to be able to make precise diagnoses and know when a patient’s condition has changed.

Patients can be assured he has a meticulous approach to making sure they receive the best treatment based on good evidence - he has previously spotlighted and successfully campaigned to change potentially harmful clinical guidelines used by thousands of doctors that were based on unreliable research.

He prides himself on a caring but no-nonsense approach, with clear explanations tailored to individual patients.
