Provided very little insight. Initial diagnosis does not factor in primary symptoms or history. No diagnostic plan given.
Dr Brookes is an expert in his field and applies latest medical research in his treatment plan. He explains thoroughly the context in light of the symptoms presented. His assessment is taken with greatest care and expertise. Dr Brookes outlines the treatment plan in such a way that you fully understand the reason why and the benefits of the medication applied.
The doctor was very honest and very helpful. His explanation was helpful.
Mr Brookes is an excellent doctor, very thorough, listens well and highly professional, with a nice manner. I felt I was in good hands! I also appreciated the holistic service available.
Mr Brookes is obviously extremely knowledgeable, took the time to listen, was friendly and thoroughly investigated my problem. His report is very helpful and has given me a way forward. I'm very grateful for his time and expertise.
First class. Very impressive.
Very nice man, knowledgeable thorough, precise and accommodating Maybe a little more explanation would be good during first consultation. However I appreciate will possibly get more of that in the follow up once tests results are back. In any case I feel like I am in good hands
A very warm and engaging man. Made one feel safe and comfortable. Clearly very experienced and knows his field well.
Dr G Brookes was really friendly, made me feel at ease, answered all my questions and ensured I started treatment asap
Rushed through with no explanation of what my condition was or could be. Given pills and sent away. What do I do if the pills don't work
Answered all my questions and where the answer wasn't straightforward explained why diagnosis can be difficult. Correctly highlighted that should have come to see him or another ENT specialist sooner which has made me a little annoyed with my GP and Specsavers who did my hearing test in not also stressing this. NHS referral has resulted in unacceptable delay which is why i self referred. Perhaps should have spent a little more time discussing initial medication prescribed that I am now taking e.g. potential side effects although staff were also trying to book MRI scan at this point so I was a little distracted.
Nice guy, trust his diagnosis
Great personality, empathy, and thorough examination. Calm and open to discussion. Good listener, easy to talk to and willing to explain. I'm still undergoing examinations and have faith that Mr Gerald Brookes will diagnose me successfully and help me.
Absolute clarity and empathy in abundance. I will be writing to Royal College about his excellent service.
Mr Brookes is very good doctor, this is the third time I’m seeing him . If I could give him 100 stars I would that’s how good of a doctor he is . Thank you Mr Brookes
Hopefully very helpful
Took the time to explain the situation. Very helpful.
I felt I was listened to and properly examined. Time was taken for my medical history and when I expressed a worry about one of the medications prescribed.
Overall, a very good experience
Mr Brookes was very thorough and professional, explaining every step of my treatment so I understood what he is trying to achieve as far as my diagnosis goes.
Great and friendly doctor. My treatment was quick and there was no pain from the suction.
Very friendly and excellent
Professional, thorough examination and equally clear explanation of medical plan
MR BROOKES SHOWED KIND CARE AND ATTENTION IN ASCERTAINING THE SOURCE OF MY PAIN. HE WAS THOROUGH IN MAKING SURE THAT HE UNDERSTOOD ALL OF MY SYMPTOMS AND PROVIDED A CLEARLY EXPLAINED TREATMENT PLAN GOING FORWARD. WHICH I REALLY DO APPRECIATE.
Assessment was fine, no issues.
Excellent all round experience . Maid me feel totally at ease .
First class and in total command of his subject. I came away feeling fully informed and confident of his conclusion.
Cheerful, knowledgeable and put me at ease
Mr Brookes was very friendly and professional and took his time to explain both the procedures being undertaken and the potential causes of my symptoms. The level of knowledge and expertise was very reassuring.

Very experienced doctor and I will definitely see him again if I have a throat problem
I found Mr Gerald Brookes to be friendly, professional and sympathetic. Mr Brookes was quick to diagnose my condition and find a resolution and explained a long term solution to my on going issues.
Very kind and inform!
Seemed disinterested and wanted the consultation over quickly. Also given the current climate the world is currently in, he was wearing no ppe, no gloves or face mask.
