I had a video appointment with Dr Matthey after being diagnosed with a DVT. Dr Matthey explained how the medicine, Xarelto, worked and how the DVT would develop and the action of the body's defences. He explained the risks of the DVT and the likelihood of recurrence. He then explained what actions I should take in the future. He was really helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring. Excellent consultation.

Dr Matthey recently saw my 80-year old Mother for enlarged red blood cells which had us worried. Dr Matthey was brilliant from start to finish. First he handles all communications himself via email so there is no secretary involved which makes it all very very efficient. He was incredibly caring, reassuring and in close communication with me throughout and I knew we were in total safe hands. Everything he did he explained thoroughly and transparently, even down to how much he billed our insurer! His clinic letter is detailed, easy to understand and no nonsense. He is incredibly approachable and explains everything and is very reassuring - all that you want in a doctor especially when you worry about your mum. Thank you so much Dr Matthey and I say this nicely - I hope we don't see you again!!

I was fortunate enough to recently have an online consultation with Dr. Matthey. I couldn't recommend him more. He was calm, authoritative and reassuring. I was referred to Dr. Matthey by my GP and I was delighted with I received a reply to my request for an appointment within a couple of hours of emailing. No anxious waiting! The online consultation was straightforward to log into (no pre-registering) and Dr. Matthey was prompt but gave me plenty of time so that I didn't feel rushed. It was an ABSOLUTE privilege to have met Dr. Matthey on line. I would have no doubts in recommending him.

He has always explained everything very clearly and answered any queries or worries I have had very satisfactorily. I feel very lucky to have been treated by him during the past eight years.
