Imagine the caring bedside tender manner of a mother, with the proffesionalism thats upheald at all times ? This is what our experience was, she took the time to give some advice on how to approach difficult situations in healthcare, a health check which was not medicalised focused on their feelings and how comfortable they were before she even attempted a medical exam, my child has anxiety so this was someone who knew how to approach my child, as well as ensuring my child was comfortable through the whole appointment, very very relaxed atmosphere, her whole approach was warm and friendly, her aura was so relaxing and well she made a grumpy pre teen smile so that tells you she's brilliant. Dr Mahomed is most certainly one doctor you can say there is a reason why she works at the portland because she is brilliant at what she does, but she is patient centered first and most certainly tells you if she feels something needs to be spoken about. As my Childs advocate I went away knowing I was able to navigate care going forward from the knowledge received from the appointment. highly recommend.

Excellent experience, Dr Mahomed was very professional and explained in detail all the actions during the consultation. We were very happy with the interaction and results.

We saw Dr. Mahomed twice and she was very attentive in both instances. She listened carefuly to the complaints/ symptoms and made sure to explain eveything. The scheduled appointments were kept and we didn't have to wait long at all once checked in.

An excellent doctor who really knows her stuff. Has had a huge positive effect on the quality of the lives of both boys. She is a great listener and values the input of the family.
