Dr Faisal Ali is a Consultant Dermatologist, Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and Laser Surgeon who works within private practice in Manchester and London. Dr Ali began his medical education at The University of Cambridge, graduating in pre-clinical medicine before graduating from the University of Oxford in clinical studies. Following this, he underwent specialist training in dermatology in Manchester. He then undertook a fellowship focusing on Mohs micrographic surgery and laser dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital Trusts. He then undertook advanced fellowship training in Singapore focusing on skin pigmentation disorders.
Dr Ali is an active researcher, having been awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His work has resulted in the publication of over 190 peer-reviewed articles, and over 80 lectures/presentations at conferences around the globe. His work has earned his several awards including the BMJ Dermatology of the Year in 2018.
