Dr David Aldulaimi is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist who specialises in oesophageal, coeliac and fatty liver disease, the irritable bowel syndrome and dietary therapy.
Dr Aldulaimi was educated in London and graduated from University College and The Middlesex Hospital in 1992. He completed general medical training at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London hospitals and specialist training , including a research fellowship at Warwick University, in the West Midlands Deanery.
Dr Aldulaimi is highly experienced at endoscopy and works closely with colleauges performing gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy and non-invasive investigations, such as ultrasound, CT and MRI scans .
He has co-authored over 50 publications, including international consensus statements regarding oesophageal and small bowel disease and presented local studies regarding coeliac disease, fatty liver disease and the irritable bowel syndrome at gastroenterology conferences.

Dr Aldulaimi was really good at explaining everything clearly and in a language we understood. He was extremely thorough and took time to build a picture of the concerns. He was very reassuring and is clearly very knowledgeable of problems that affect the stomach area. Highly recommended.

I recommend Dr Aldulaimi based on my recent experience. We had a thorough discussion about my problem and diagnostic tests were recommended to root-cause. Everything was clearly explained and Dr patiently examined all documents supplied.

Dr Aldulaimi has such a great way of dealing with and explaining everything in great detail. I certainly don’t have any medical training so when doctors explain things sometimes its hard to understand. In my consultation, everything was explained thoroughly and he went through every possibility with me. I have coeliac disease and its the first time ever since being diagnosed that someone took the time to actually check if the problems I’m having aren’t still being caused my Coeliac. He is so welcoming and reassuring that you leave feeling hopeful that things will change and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I can’t recommend him enough.
