I simply cannot rate Dr Heaton highly enough. He really listened to my 90yr old mother. Took in all of her concerns and asked a very detailed history. He offered her many different options to try, explaining what each option provided and how to use it. He explained in detail but in simple terms what her condition was and how it was effecting her body. I would not hesitate to see Dr Heaton again should the need arise.

Although the consultation was a Zoom meeting, Dr Heaton asked good questions about the history of my condition and asked for photographs to be sent to him so he could study them. He phoned back the same day and gave a considered explanation of what the condition may be and what tests could be done. He was at all times very professional and concerned about the case.

Dr Heaton made a point of calmly providing me with a background of his wealth of experience as a dermatology specialist during our consultation. If you are experiencing any understandable anxiety he is an extremely reassuring presence. He clearly explained the information given what information he required from me to make the best diagnosis. He also made me feel as though it was his personal responsibility to deliver a completely satisfactory diagnosis. He made a point of stating, given the challenges of a remote consultation, that I would not be charged any extra for a follow up meetings that may be required until a fully confident diagnosis could be achieved. This was very reassuring and felt like it was putting me and my health first. This was not something I expected and I was extremely grateful for this gesture. This is the first medical consultation i have experienced remotely via webcam due to Covid19. This whole process was managed efficiently, Dr Heaton arrived on time, there were no interruptions, although scheduled for 25 mins I was assured we would take all the time that was needed. Communication was clear, felt honest and i was given the opportunity to ask any and all question that i had. Follow up emails were sent containing helpful links to further information. Overall I am very happy with my experience so far and would not hesitate to recommend Dr Heaton.

Very helpful indeed but it is a shame that physical 'inspection' is not possible. Hopefully in the near future.
