Dr Clapp’s Approach was very friendly, empathic, and listen to me and I did not feel my concerns were not heard or dismissed. He came and visited me in my room later to ensure that I fully understood implications of the test and required procedures to rectify what had been identified. Dr Clapp provided an excellent service. He carefully listened to the issue, recommended the appropriate tests and then spent time to run through the test results in detail.

He took a detailed history (I am a doctor so know!) then examined me. We spent about 20 minutes reviewing my investigations. I had done all these in advance and went to Dr Clapp for a more experienced opinion. He clearly had a complete grasp of the significance of all the investigations done. On asking if anything else needed to be done the reply was that he would review with King's College the result of the MRI and this was done within 24 hours. His only recommendation was to do a 24hrs BP monitoring (I already had a 24hr rhythm monitoring) to exclude the unlikely possibility of exertional hypertension. I have had this done and that is now safely eliminated as a possibility. Although there is still doubt over the final diagnosis I feel that Dr Clapp has left no stone unturned to come to a conclusion and I am very happy with the consultation. He met my needs and attending to my questions with good listening skills and empathy.
