It was a pleasure to see Dr Turner. He is kind and compassionate, very clear in his explanations, and open to discussing alternative views and options. He clearly dedicated time to revise my (extensive) case documents before the first appointment.

A neurological disease is very bad news. Multiple sclerosis simply blew my little universe apart as medical literature I rushed to after diagnosis says there is no cure. One lives on borrowed time and it is hard to re-align your health, your job, your family and friends, your everything with the routine of a slow destruction. One needs a neurologist, a GP, a psychiatrist, a hematologist, an internal organs medical expert, etc and at the same time someone to dare to customise the last medical know how to your condition. I meet virtually with people diagnosed with the same condition as mine and I came to know the difference between success and failure. I am physically and intellectually capable of living as I want and I am in the 8th year of remission to boot. I know I owe this to the one neurologist who silently accepts to be the steward of his patients - Ben Turner.

Dr Ben Turner was very empathetic and professional. He made sure I understood what he was communicating without any ‘doctor speak’. I would think that he went the extra mile for me as a doctor.
