Dr Animesh Singh is a Consultant in Rheumatology and Acute & General Medicine working privately at The Physicians' Clinic, The Princess Grace Hospital and Chiswick Medical Centre. His NHS base is the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.

He aims to offer holistic, evidence-based care to all his patients. He takes pride in treating individual patients and not just their medical problems and runs his clinics in a collaborative fashion with his patients, maintaining great respect for their beliefs and background.

He is proficient in the management of patients with all types of rheumatological disorders with particular interest in rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR), osteoporosis, gout, lupus (SLE) and vasculitis.  In addition, he is heavily involved with acute and general medicine including the assessment and management of acutely sick patients as well as the investigation of complex undifferentiated symptoms.  He participates in the medical on call rota at both the Royal Free and Princess Grace Hospitals.

At the Royal Free, he runs a unique collaborative clinic with dermatology consultants concentrating on complex psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis patients. He is an educational supervisor for junior doctors, clinical tutor for undergraduate medical students and principal investigator in a number of clinical trials. He advises local commissioning groups and national bodies on the use of biologics in inflammatory diseases.

As an expat in London, I found myself needing a Rheumatologist within weeks of starting my international assignment. Reached out to Dr. Singh via Doctify and was able to schedule an appointment within days. Thanks to early detection and quite accurate prognosis by Dr. Singh, we were able to agree on the right course of treatment that worked for me. Dr. Singh is always available to answer questions and provides detail letters after every appointment describing the diagnosis / examination.

Dr Singh acted extremely fast and the speed at which I was admitted to hospital was most impressive. His continued care of me during my stay in hospital and subsequent outpatient appointments have been most reassuring. His bedside manner is exemplary. He listens, gives his time and thoroughly explains the situation. Dr Singh is an exceptional consultant, who I would highly recommend.
