When I first suffered my eye condition back in 2005, I was treated at Eastbourne District General Hospital, Dr Sharam Kashani was one of the staff who treated me ! Since then I have always been a patient of his and will always hope to be so.

I have been a patient of Dr Kashani for some 15 years and throughout that time he has shown a very high degree of professional skill coupled with an ability to treat the patient with personal warmth and empathy.

He was very understanding and listened to how my eye was performing. Explained everything before the op and answered all of my questions. He talked to me whilst surgery happening during which I felt no pain. The only discomfort I felt was the injection at start By talking to me it kept me relaxed and understanding what was happening. Told all what would happen prior during the various stages of surgery. The follow up appointment was also very professional and again expressed a very caring attitude and answered all questions. The result was excellent sight. He said on parting any problems let me know so parted happily.

Dr Kashani was polite, friendly and explained my situation and options very clearly. He continued to keep me well informed throughout the procedures of both eye operations and had a very good 'bedside manner' together with the staff who accompanied him throughout my procedures.

I am very happy with the results of my two recent cataract operations. Mr Kashani was very friendly, efficient and reassuring.
