Dr Roland Ede is a Consultant Gastroenterologist who was appointed to Darent Valley Hospital with sessions at Guys & St Thomas Hospital. Dr Ede qualified from Guy's Hospital and trained at King's College Hospital where he was MRC Research Fellow at the Institute for Liver Disease. Following senior registrar training at the Royal London Hospital he was appointed Consultant Gastroenterologist at Darent Valley Hospital and honorary consultant at Guys & St Thomas' Hospital. Dr Ede is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology and was Regional Speciality tutor and examiner for thr Royal College of Physicians and medical advisor to NACC (Crohns & colitis UK) and member of the British Association for the study of the Liver. He has chaired the regional Gastroenterology committee and the London gastroenterology training committee and has been hon. senior lectureer at Kings College
