Dr Cosgrove graduated with honours from the University of Manchester in 2006 and qualified as a consultant neurologist in 2017. He completed a MD at the University of York in 2015 looking at the use of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of movement disorders. He is actively involved in research studies of Parkinson's and Huntington's. He works at Leeds Teaching Hospitals within the NHS, and has a sub-speciality interest in movement disorders, including Parkinson's, Huntington's, dystonia and tremor. He also investigates and manages patients with a range of other neurological conditions such as headache, migraine, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy and functional neurological disorder.
