Upon being taken into the heart ward via A&E Dr Babu was my consultant. He was very thorough in explaining what and why my heart attacks and VT had happened. He was very professional and precise throughout my two weeks on ward as he has been in aftercare

After some initial research & from the first consultation, I soon felt confident that I had found absolutely the right local specialist for my AF condition. As well as Dr Babu's experience and clinical expertise, I also found him very intuitive in analysing how I felt, given my AF symptoms, and it was easy and clear to discuss with him the diagnosis and planned approach to the procedure to resolve my AF issues. So far I am relieved and thankful that I feel so much better with the outcome to stabilise my heart rate and the follow-up consultations (including advice on medication) have been helpful. Throughout the process from initial consultation to final confirmation call post surgery, Dr Babu was professional, explained the process and options in an understandable manner with no pressure, allowing me to make an informed decision. Before each procedure he confirmed what I should expect, what the risks were and what I should expect afterwards during recovery. I felt reassured and relaxed about the ablation. During the local anaesthetic procedure, he kept enquiring how I was coping and explained what he was doing/about to do in a calming, controlled manner.
