Dr Fariborz Neirami is Consultant in Pain Medicine and Clinical Lead in Pain at King's College Hospital. He also holds consultations and offers treatments at a number of private hospitals and clinics, including: The Sloane Hospital, Chelsfield Park Hospital, Harley Street Specialist Hospital and Sevenoaks Medical Centre.
Dr Neirami's clinical aim is to reduce pain and increase the function and quality of life of his patients. He sees patients suffering from neck, shoulder, back and pelvic pain as well as headaches and cancer pain. He has special interests in the treatment and management of spinal pain.
Dr Neirami completed his medical degree at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 1992. He specialised in pain medicine and became board certified in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine in 1995 by Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. He later obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Anaesthetics from St George's School of Anaesthesia.
He completed a postgraduate fellowship programme in Canada and is a Fellow of both the College of Anaesthetists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

I was in regular pain - every night pain killers etc. After treatment no more pain killers - slight twinge occasionally but a miracle treatment and delightful doctor

Dr Neirami is a brilliant doctor who provided me with a thorough consultation of my back and made me feel validated with my back complications; he has made every effort to help me with the next steps, which included booking a next day MRI scan and prescribing me with effective pain medication. Furthermore, he has informed my own GP so they are aware of my diagnosis and treatment.

I saw Dr Neirami with pain in my neck. He explained everything he was going to do regarding injections. After the sucess of the first injections. I came back for nerve block injections. During the process Dr Neirami explained everything he was doing. I got emotional during the process and Dr Neirami stopped everything to make sure I was OK. I would recommend this treatment as I've been pain free since.

Fariborz is a highly skilled and extremely competent pain specialist who isnt scared to be fully honest with patients about their issues and give them the best advice on how to manage their pain.
