Mrs Anupama Shahid

Mrs Anupama Shahid is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She is based at The Wellington Women's Clinic at 148 Harley Street London and also works at the Holly Private Hospital, The Harley Street Centre for Women, The Portland Hospital and the Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Mrs Shahid treats many general gynaecology problems such as endometriosis, menstrual disorders, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts but has a special interest in infertility, reproductive medicine, early pregnancy care, menopause and post-reproductive care and minimal access surgery. Mrs Shahid is qualified in advanced hysteroscopic surgery, benign gynaecology and laparoscopic surgery.

In addition to her consultant role, Mrs Shahid is Clinical Director for the Gynaecology Network at the Barts Health NHS Trust, London. She is also Educational Preceptor for Emergency Gynaecology for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Mrs Shahid has a special interest in research and she has published several articles in a number of peer-reviewed journals. Her research has focused on reproductive medicine, minimal access surgery, gynaecological ultrasound, emergency gynaecology, oncology and obstetrics. She is currently working on a research project on laparoscopic surgery.
