I was fairly shocked when I lost the vision in my right eye but I knew that I was in the hands of an expert surgeon in this field. After the surgery the vision in my right eye is the best I have ever had in my whole life and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing eye surgery

Mr Park is an exceptional and friendly Consultant / Surgeon. His explanation of my procedures and requirements thereafter was reassuring and easy to understand. After an initially successful Vitrectomy, my retina detached (GRT). He was shocked, but determined to try to repair it himself using a gas bubble rather than oil. It was 50/50, and a long 12 week’s recovery, but he achieved it and I am truly grateful to him.

I would definitely recommend Mr Park to anyone who is looking for an extremely knowledgeable and skilled eye surgeon. After treating me back in 2019 on the NHS for a detached retina, I found him to be very competent, approachable and reassuring. More recently in April 2023 and after my past positive experience with Mr Park, I chose to seek his care again this time at the Midland Eye for cataract operations on both of my very high myopic eyes. During both of these cataract procedures everyone was so efficient, kind and caring . Yet again I felt in very safe hands whilst being operated on by Mr Park and I am more than happy with the end results . It goes without saying that if the need were to arise again, I would not hesitate to return to Mr Park . Finally I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Park and the whole team at Midland Eye .
