Blandina has been in the world of dentistry for over 17 years. She intially qualified as a Dental Nurse with the Royal Army Dental Corps, Aldershot. In 2008 she qualified as a Dental Hygienist, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSEd). In 2010, Blandina attained a BSc (Hon) Degree in Health Promotion awarded by Middlesex University, London. In 2013 Blandina gained her Diploma in Dental Therapy, awarded by Bristol University. She has worked across numerous parts of the UK, gaining vast experience and skill in her field.
Blandina is registered by the General Dental Council as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. During her career in dentistry she has worked in a variety of settings including NHS and Private Practice. Blandina has also worked in community dentistry and in the Armed Forces. She is currently practising as a Dental Hygienist at Dental Essence, Weybridge; where she is a valued member of the team.
Blandina’s main interest lies in the prevention of gum disease and tooth decay, she is also passionate about promoting a holistic approach on overall health. Blandina is a strong believer in educating patients on how to best look after their oral health in order to maintain a healthy mouth. Her aim is to always create a relaxed and calm atmosphere for her patients, and her numerous years of experience have led her to be expert in treating nervous patients successfully.
