I had a delightful experience with Mr Sadek concerning some lower back pain. His initial consultation was thorough and he explained to me what he thought the problem was. He arranged for an MRI and was kind enough to see me very shortly after that. In the follow-up appointment, Mr Sadek explained clearly where the pain was coming from. He used a model and my scans to make sure I understood the problem. His explanations were clear and easy for me to understand, and his manner was kind and thoughtful throughout.

Having suffered from an injury that resulted in an L4/L5 disk herniation, I arranged a private consultation with Dr Sadek at The London Independant Hospital. I had been suffering from intense nerve pain in the lowerback since my intial injury and as a result I had developed a lateral shift, I found it difficult to walk, sleep and sit down due to the ongoing pain and discomfort that I was experiencing. I found Dr Sadek extreamly friendly, understanding and very professional in his approach to my care and treatment. His knowledge and understanding into recent research and studies regarding neurosurgery was reassuring, and although most doctors were quick to suggest an operation on cases such as mine, I was encouraged by Dr Sadek to try a nerve block injection followed by a course of physiotherapy. I was intially doubting that such a course of treatment would work, as the NHS suggested that such action would not be suitable and I would need an operation. Nevertheless I trusted Dr Sadek's expert experience and most up to date knowledge in this field, and in my case this was fantastic and it worked out well for me in the end. The nerve pain ended after having the CT guided injection, which then enabled me to get back on track and focus on my recovery, losing weight and focusing on my physiotherapy to improve the lateral shift and increase the core strength. I later had my final review in which I was much more improved, and happily discharged. I would fully recommend Dr Sadek with any neurosugery issues, and I am just disapointed that I did not make the appointment much sooner.

I had an excellent experience with the level of service and expertise displayed by Mr Ahmed-Ramadan Sadek. He is an outstanding professional & I felt very reassured with his assessment, diagnose & consequent follow-up plan crafted to treat a very painful spine injury that had me with severe pain in my lower back and gluteus for over 5 weeks. His initial assessment was followed by an MRI to find the root cause of my pain; even no major signs of damage on my spine were found, he referred me to a nerves conducting examination to eliminate any other potential causes of pain and as part of my rehab plan, referred me to further physio to strengthen my core & find a long & sustainable solution to my condition. Throughout this period, we had a few check-ups to review progress and I always felt listed to & there was a genuine desire for Mr Sadek to help me find a solution to my problem. One that would last!
