Mr Rupen Dattani is a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises exclusively in shoulder and elbow arthroscopic (keyhole) and arthroplasty (joint replacement) surgery as well as surgery for fractures around the shoulder and elbow joints.

After qualifying from the University of Wales, Mr Rupen Dattani completed his Orthopaedic training on the South West Thames specialist registrar programme. He also obtained a doctorate of medicine (MD) in orthopaedics at University College London.

During his career, Mr Dattani has been awarded with two prestigious fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery: the first allowed him to working with Mr Graham Tytherleigh-Strong in Cambridge and the second fellowship took place at the internationally renowned Reading Shoulder Unit working with Professor Ofer Levy. Mr Dattani has also completed a trauma fellowship at a Level I trauma centre in Vancouver, Canada. These fellowships have provided Mr Dattani with his highly specialised clinical focus on shoulder and elbow surgery.

Mr Dattani has a strong belief that the high quality of medical care we enjoy today has a foundation in well controlled research. In accordance with this belief, Mr Dattani has published over 20 articles in peer reviewed journals and has presented his work at both national and international conferences. His main research interests are in assessing patient outcomes following shoulder surgery. Mr Dattani is an author of a book used in the teaching and training of junior surgeons and has also authored book chapters for orthopaedics textbooks.

Outside of work, Rupen is dedicated to family life and enjoys playing tennis and swimming when he can find the time.

Mr Deepu Sethi is a specialist knee surgeon with extensive experience of sports injuries and treatment of the degenerative knee. Mr Sethi has a particular expertise in sports injuries, complex ligament repair / reconstruction, meniscal surgery and repair, joint preservation surgery and both partial and total knee replacements.

Mr Sethi qualified at University College London Medical School. He then went on to complete his specialist orthopaedic training at Oswestry and Birmingham.

Mr Sethi's subspecialty fellowship training was focused on knee sports injuries and joint reconstruction in Australia and in the UK.

Mr Deepu Sethi was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon at Homerton University Hospital, where he is the lead surgeon for knee and joint replacement surgery. In addition he is an active surgical trainer and educational supervisor.

Mr Sethi collects data on the outcome of his surgery and registers his patients on the National Ligament Registry dedicated to analysing and improving the outcome of Cruciate ligament reconstruction.

Mr Gulati is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hip & Knee Surgeon and an honorary lecturer at Imperial College, London.

Mr Gulati has particular expertise in carrying out hip and knee replacement surgery with a special interest in revision hip replacement surgery. He is also helping develop a young adult hip pathology service within the hospital. Mr Jonathan Walczak was born in London and trained at Guys Hospital Medical School from 1981 through to 1987. His post-graduate training included a specialist fellowship in Hip surgery, which took place in 1998.

Later in his career, he became, and remains, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA). Not only this, he has held the post of consultant trauma & orthopaedic surgeon at Bromley NHS Trust since 1999 and is now employed by Kings College NHS trust

His private practices are located at the BMI Sloane, BMI Chelsfield Park, BMI Shirley Oaks, BMI Blackheath, Sevenoaks Medical centre and KIMS in Maidstone. Hani graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2004 with a distinction in MBBS. He completed his training on the London Northwest Thames rotation and was awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015. He has been on the GMC register since 2017.

Hani completed his lower limb fellowship at Guys Hospital Hip Unit. He was awarded the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) travelling fellowship to Toronto - Canada and a visiting fellowship to Pretoria - South Africa.

Mr Nicholas Ferran is an orthopaedic surgeon with special expertise in upper limb surgery. He is currently a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery and listed on the Specialist Register. Mr Ferran practices at a number of different hospitals and offices throughout London and is fully registered with the General Medical Council to practice.

Mr Martin Klinke is an orthopaedic specialist in foot and ankle problems but also holds a qualification in sports and exercise medicine 

He graduated from medical school in Frankfurt and received his master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Nice.

He completed his post graduate Orthopaedic training in the major teaching hospitals of Germany and Paris, followed by a specialised foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. In 2001 Mr Klinke worked for a year with Professor Hinterman, a world-leading specialist in ankle replacements. In 1999 he also received the qualification in sports and exercise medicine. 

Mr Klinke was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital Trust in 2002. He joined the London Foot and Ankle Centre in 2003 and is the senior foot and ankle surgeon at London Bridge Hospital. He also works at the Bupa Cromwell hospital and at the Lister hospital.

Mr Klinke performs the whole spectrum of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and has a particular interest in hind foot pathologies, ankle replacements, sports injuries and forefoot disorders. This also includes ankle arthroscopy (‘keyhole’ surgery), minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair, minimal invasive forefoot surgery and operative reconstruction of foot deformities.

Due to his training in Sports Medicine he also treats athletes suffering from acute injuries or overuse syndromes, including shock wave treatment for Achilles tendinopathies and plantar fasciitis.

Mr Saksena has been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon since 2009. He undertook his medical training in Scotland and graduated with honours in 1995. He underwent his initial surgical training in the UK and Australia before embarking on his specialist orthopaedic training on the prestigious Royal London Hospital Rotation. He has worked and lived in the North London area since 2002.

Joyti Saksena's clinical practice lies in hip and knee joint replacement surgery, complex primary hip replacement and revision hip and knee replacement.

He performs arthroscopic knee surgery and soft tissue knee reconstruction including anterior cruciate ligament and medial patella-femoral ligament reconstruction. He has a keen interest in joint preservation surgery of the hip and knee and undertakes procedures to try and prevent the need for joint replacement particularly in the younger patient including hip arthroscopy.

During his training he undertook 3 specialist fellowships:

He has published and presented his research work in Europe and the USA.

Joyti Saksena keeps up to date by attending national and international scientific meetings. He undertook a traveling surgeon visit to the USA to visit surgeons who specialise in conservative hip and custom knee replacement techniques. He has adopted 3D computer-aided planning in to his practise and patient specific implants.

He is keen on innovation in orthopaedics and has been involved in the design and testing of a number of orthopaedic implants.
