St John's Wood - Wellington Hospital
Welcome to St John's Wood - Wellington Hospital
Overall very good but could use a few more people working on the check in desk to speed up the process.
Great so far so good
Staff were very helpful and friendly
professional, helpful and efficient service.
Great experience, excellent care. Nothing was too much trouble.
Perfect across the board everything was excellent.
First class in every respect.
Excellent and friendly.
A very welcoming place with excellent staff. A very good experience. Could do with a lick of paint in places.
Kind staff and very clean hospital
I had my consultations and overnight stay following skin graft surgery at the Wellington. First class service.
Platinum Medical centre is clean, welcoming, and easy parking.
The hospital was clean and the check-in process was simple. Waiting times were about 10-15 minutes and the staff were helpful. The hospital was not busy, and the whole process was easy and calming.
Air conditioning not working properly night nurse did not respond tommy call
It was fine.
Everyone was very helpful and made the whole experience stress-free.
My experience in the Wellington Hospital has been very positive. The accommodation is spacious and well designed; the hospital is spotless; the catering is excellent and the nursing care was outstanding. I was also very impressed by the post-operative facilities available (ie: gym for physiotherapy). Higly recommended.
During my recent Hip Arthroplasty, I found the Wellington Hospital to be a great place, putting the patients safety and wellbeing above all else. The check-in process was seamless and swift. All of the nursing staff I had the pleasure to meet were polite, helpful; they anticipated most of my needs and were able to answer any question that I or my family had. The Hospital is spotless and the rooms are exactly what you need to help you recover from surgery, having outdoor space is particularly useful. The Orthopaedic floor is equipped with an excellent gym and in my case this allowed rehad to being the day of surgery. I eat healthily and was extremely happy with the options provided. Again overnight care was excellent, when I had problems sleeping and just wanted to talk for a while this was accommodated (based on the demands of other patients of course!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Wellington, and will hopefully be returning with the knowledge of the quality of care provided should my left hip require replacing.
The care I received at the Wellington hospital was very good. All staff were professional and caring. I was well looked after!
They made me comfortable
The food could be better for a private hospital.
Excellent care in very pleasant surroundings.
The staff were brilliant. They all understood every aspect of the operation I had. They were always ( and had time) to answer any questions I might of had.
Very clean, friendly people, would recommend
I received excellent nursing and support during my stay at the Wellington.
Overall great, although the other patients bedside call bells did go on for a long time, a little disturbing when trying to sleep
Had to wait a little bit on the first visit. Otherwise everything was perfect!
I cannot say a negative thing about the hospital building or staff
The staff at the Wellington were incredibly personable, comforting and professional which installed me with confidence and enormously improved the quality of the whole experience. The room was private, very practical and spotlessly clean. The food was both nutritional and tasty. The nurses were incredable and the whole experience felt more like a stay in a five star hotel than a hospital. Many many thanks.
Where do I start? I had an amazing experience! I was pampered! The nurses were great. the physiotherapists were amazing. The food was first class! The room was very clean and comfortable. I was very well looked after!
I have had two surgeries at The Wellington over the course of 6 months and was overwhelmed by the quality of care and compassion provided by all staff members. From the surgeon, to the anaesthetist and all nursing staff, everyone played their part in easing my concerns and seeing me through the process. I couldn’t have felt better looked after. Many thanks to all.
The only reason I have not given 5 stars for my overall experience, is that when the (male) physiotherapists came to get me out of bed immediately after my operation, they dismissed my request to use a bedpan first. The result was an embarrassing one for me when they stood me up. The nurse on duty admonished them with ‘when a lady of a certain age says she wishes to pass water, she knows’. NB I had a general anaesthetic not a epidural.
staff a little chaotic. I had physio, lunch and pharmacist arriving within 30 secs.
Excellent staff that were with me every step of the way during my recovery. The kindness and level of care was exemplary. The nurses were kind, supportive and true professionals that made me feel comfortable and reassured during my recovery. The rooms were clean and spacious and had all the amenities that I would require. In addition, the food was delicious and catered to all diet options.
Lovely hospital ( let’s be honest here) no one wants to go to hospital but it helps a great deal that the place is very professional.
