I was recommended to consult Mr Barber for Aquablation of my benign, very enlarged prostate. Having researched the technique, its 5 year results and met Mr Barber I felt very confident that I was in highly proficient, professional and competent hands. Mr Barber himself is personable, cheerful, helpful and friendly. My procedure went very well and although I remained catheterised for a week afterwards this was not a particular issue and I had mild discomfort rather than any pain. The benefits of the procedure came very quickly with much improved flow, greater voiding and reduced frequency. I used to get up several times to urinate at night but within a month I was able to sleep through the night again. I would say that after 10 weeks I was fully recovered and that the procedure was a complete and tremendous success. I am very grateful and I recommend Mr Barber and the Aquablation technique very highly.
