Having had difficulty staying awake and functioning for what felt like years, I was finally referred to the NHS sleep clinic. Unfortunately this coincided with the Covid 19 pandemic which meant my referral was put on hold. After careful consideration I decided to do a sleep assessment privately. I did a lot of research and time and time again the positive reviews for The Sleep Disorder Clinc came up and my decision was made. I got in touch and within a few day I was ready to do my 2 night assessment. The instructions where clear and the support was fantastic. A courier was arranged to collect everything, I didn't have to lift a finger, The results were in.. my AHI was 123 and I was diagnosed with severe OSA. Whilst it was a huge shock, there was also relief that I finally had some answers. Joseph and the team were amazing. I was explained in detail all my results and potential next steps. There was no pressure and I was given time to digest the information. Having been hugely satisfied with the service from the clinic I opted for their recommended treatment plan of going straight on to CPAP which I did through the clinic. There was step by step guidance on how to use the machine, masking fitting, cleaning and all minor trouble shooting was resolved timely and professionally. 5 months on, my life has changed. I have an average AHI of under 1 through using my machine and I have so much more energy and many more hours in the day (due to no longer needing to nap or go to bed early). I can not recommend the The Sleep Disorder Clinic enough. The NHS has its place and I am hugely grateful of the work they do, however private clinics also have their place. If your quality of life is suffering and you have the means to resolve it, do not hesitate. You will not regret it.

After years of diets and not loosing weight I was referred to the Clinic . It was diagnosed I had a sleep disorder whereby I had not slept more than 3-4 hours each night. To me that was normal. I was given a CPAC which I used for about 2-3 months, the sleep improved to 6-8 hours , no waking up through the night. It was amazing I felt so much better each morning. My weight began to come off. I noticed a poor night sleep caused my sugar levels to be disturbed and so I ate more food. It was a vicious spiral. The weight is coming off the sleep quality is getting better each night , there is no need of the CPAC now. I was very upset over the whole business but the Clinic were so kind and encouraging I could not have done it with out them. A very big thank you .

I was recommended by a colleague and so pleased I took his advice. From the onset my experience of the Sleep Disorder Clinic has been excellent and professional. Joseph, who I have been dealing with has been consistently profession and approachable. He has really helped me understand sleep apnea and guided me through the treatment plan without pushing me to buy unnecessary equipment. This has been a difficult transition for me, Joseph has been on the other end of the phone and supported me through it. The difference to my life has been amazing. I wake up feeling refreshed and with a clear head. My well-being has hugely improved. There is still away to go but I am so happy about the outcome so far. I throughly recommend the Sleep Disorder Clinic, the service is excellent.

A friend asked if I snore and I said yes and she suggested it might be Sleep Apnoea. I had never heard of it so I looked online and all my symptoms matched. I wen
